1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Relio (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

Relio is a personal contact-management application that stores data locally on your device and uses AI solely to process audio and text you choose to submit.

2. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored only on your device and never sent to our servers:

• Contacts
• Notes
• Audio recordings
• Photos
• Parsed information extracted from text
• Groups and categories

We do not have access to this data and cannot retrieve or restore it if it is lost.

3. Data Sent for AI Processing

When you use voice input or AI-based features, the following data:

• Your audio
• The transcribed text
• Any enriched text sent to the AI model

is transmitted to a server that acts solely as an intermediary between the App and the AI model provider (e.g., OpenAI).

Important:

• These data packets are processed in real time and deleted immediately after delivering the AI response.
• No audio, text, or personal data submitted for AI processing is stored on our servers.
• AI processing requests are proxied through our server, and the content is discarded immediately after the response is generated.

4. Data Stored on Server

User-generated text (such as notes or contact-related information entered by the user) may be temporarily processed on the server solely to provide application functionality.

This data is not used for user identification and is not stored persistently.

5. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI — transcription and AI processing
• Apple — handles all in-app purchases

6. Permissions

The App may request access to the following system permissions solely to provide core functionality:

• Microphone — for recording audio
• Camera — for taking photos inside the app
• Contacts — for managing contact information
• Files / Storage — for importing and exporting data
• Calendar — for optional calendar-related features

Access is requested only when required and is not used for tracking purposes.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. User Rights

We do not store personal data that can identify a user.

Therefore, requests for access, correction, or deletion of personal data are generally not applicable.

9. Transborder Processing

Data may be processed on servers located outside the user’s country of residence as part of providing AI-powered features.

Such processing is limited to the duration necessary to generate a response, and no data is stored afterward.

10. No Advertising & No Selling of Data

Relio does not:

• Sell personal data
• Use personal data for advertising
• Track users for marketing or profiling

11. Data Security

All personal data is stored locally on your device. Data transmitted for AI processing uses encrypted channels.

No system is completely secure, but we implement reasonable measures to protect transmitted data.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance of the revised Policy.
